Privacy and cookie policy

This site measures its audience with Google Analytics 4, only if you accept it. Here is what is collected, for how long, and how to stay in control.

Data controller

Aicha Njimate, independent Software Engineer and founder of FalconDeev, Morocco. Contact: a.njimate@falcondeev.com

What is measured

With your consent, Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) records visit statistics:

  • pages viewed, visit duration and site language;
  • clicks on booking buttons (Calendly), WhatsApp, email and links to project websites;
  • device, browser, origin (referrer) and approximate location (country, city) derived from the IP address, which GA4 does not store;
  • campaign parameters in the address (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign…) and the ref parameter: when I send you a personalised link, ref holds your company name or yours, so I can tell that a specific link was opened.

No advertising data is collected: Google signals and ad personalisation are disabled. I receive nothing that identifies you directly, and I do not sell or share these statistics.

Cookies and lifetimes

  • _ga, _ga_N1H4VW39YE : anonymous visitor identifier and session state, 13 months at most, set only after you accept.
  • consent.analytics.v1 (browser local storage) : remembers your choice for 6 months, after which you are asked again.

Until you accept, nothing is sent to Google and the Google Analytics script is not loaded. If you open the booking window, Calendly may set its own cookies: see its privacy policy. The same applies to WhatsApp if you click the contact link.

Audience measurement relies on your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a, and Moroccan law no. 09-08). Without your consent, no measurement data is collected.

Data retention

  • Google Analytics 4 data: 14 months, then deleted automatically.
  • Measurement cookies: 13 months at most.
  • Your consent choice: 6 months, after which you are asked again.

International transfers

Measurement data is processed by Google Ireland Ltd and may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. This transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Google’s standard contractual clauses. It only happens if you accept cookies.

Declining or withdrawing consent

  • Click “Decline” in the banner: no measurement cookie is set.
  • To withdraw your consent at any time, click in the footer of any page (or here), then choose “Decline”. The measurement cookies are then deleted.
  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Declining never limits your use of the site or your ability to contact me.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Moroccan law no. 09-08, you have the following rights:

  • access to your data;
  • rectification of inaccurate data;
  • deletion (erasure) of your data;
  • objection to the processing.

To exercise them, write to me at a.njimate@falcondeev.com. If you received a personalised link, include the value of its ref parameter so I can find the data concerned.

Messages you send me by email, WhatsApp or Calendly are used only to answer your request, within the professional relationship.

Right to complain

If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country:

For other countries, the competent local authority.
